Every cell has a number
This camel is a chart of 64 by 95 cells in 16 DMC colours. Each number is one colour from the key, just like on a printed chart or a diamond painting canvas. A bold line marks every ten cells, so counting is easy.
Pick a colour and fill its cells
The cells for the colour you picked are shaded so you can find them. Tap or drag to fill them, then pick the next colour, working outward one area at a time. The key counts down as you go.

A starter set of patterns is free from the first launch, and it stays free. It is not a trial. The rest of the catalogue opens with a subscription, or one pattern at a time with coins you earn as you colour.

Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. If a subscription lapses, nothing you've already unlocked is taken away. Sign in with Google or Apple, if you like, and your unlocks and coins follow you to a new phone.
Questions people ask
Is it for cross-stitch or for diamond painting?
Both. The catalogue has charts for each, and the tools are the same. A diamond painting chart is a grid of cells with a colour code in each, just like a cross-stitch chart.
Do I need an account?
No. The app works without one. Signing in with Google or Apple is optional, and it exists so purchases can follow you to a new phone. Even then we store only an opaque account id, never your name or email address.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Any pattern you have opened stays available offline, and your progress is saved on the device. You only need a connection to browse for new patterns or to sync a purchase.
Can I stitch or bead the pattern for real afterwards?
That is the idea. The chart keeps its colour numbers and cell counts, so what you finish on the phone is what you would stitch or bead. Selling a finished physical piece you made yourself is fine. Selling the pattern itself is not.
What happens if I get a new phone?
If you signed in, your unlocks and coins follow you. If you did not, your purchases stay with the store account you bought them with, and you can restore them from the app.
Is Coloranto suitable for children?
The app is not directed at children under 16, and it does not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has used it, write to us and we will delete anything we hold.
